Day to Day Itinerary
Day 1: Moshi / Arusha — Drive to Serengeti National Park
Early morning departure from Moshi or Arusha for the drive to Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic Ngorongoro highlands. Enter the Serengeti through the famous Naabi Hill gate as the endless plains open before you. Enjoy an afternoon game drive on the southern Seronera plains — home to the highest concentration of predators in the Serengeti. Lion, cheetah, leopard, hyena and wild dog are regularly spotted here. Overnight at lodge, tented camp or campsite in the Serengeti.
Day 2: Serengeti National Park — Full Day
A full day of game drives across the Serengeti ecosystem. Your expert guide positions the vehicle for the best wildlife encounters — from cheetah hunts on the open plains to leopard resting in acacia trees, and lion prides with cubs in the golden grass. Depending on the season, witness the world-famous Great Migration as hundreds of thousands of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle move across the plains in one of nature's greatest spectacles. Evening game drive as the sun sets over Africa. Overnight at lodge, tented camp or campsite.
Day 3: Morning Serengeti Drive — Ngorongoro Crater
One final morning drive in the Serengeti before departing. Drive southeast to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the crater for an afternoon game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater delivers Big Five sightings in a compact, accessible setting — lion, black rhino, elephant, buffalo and leopard all reside within the caldera. The flamingo-fringed Lake Magadi and the dramatic 600-metre crater walls make this one of Africa's most visually stunning wildlife destinations. Overnight at lodge or camp on the crater rim.
Day 4: Morning Crater Drive — Return to Moshi / Arusha
One final morning game drive in the crater for any species missed the previous day. Ascend to the rim and begin the drive back toward Moshi or Arusha. Arrive by early evening at your hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport.
